The FARO ScanPlan is a hand-held mapping device for 2D as-built documentation. Building geometries are recorded and visualized in real time; Your smartphone serves as the screen for this. The FARO ScanPlan is connected to your smartphone and operated via the free ScanPlan app. Thanks to the light and handy design, the device is very pleasant to use.

You can create floor plans for entire building floors in just a few minutes. In addition, the ScanPlan plans the most effective points of view of your scans with a FARO Focus laser scanner based on the 2D recordings. You can create pictures and notes that supplement the room documentation in a more detailed and comprehensible manner. Nothing stands in the way of complete documentation.

The operation and data processing of the measuring device are intuitive and time-saving. The floor plan is recorded within a few minutes. Planning the most effective viewpoints is also an effective way to save time during recording and Cloud-2-Cloud registration. No intensive training or previous knowledge is required to operate this device.

By pre-registering this procedure, you can be sure that the final registration will work properly. The map data generated by the ScanPlan can be exported as PDF, PNG or DXF. You can easily share the data with project participants via Scene2go or the FARO WebShare Cloud.

Area and length measurements based on the generated data can be made directly from the smartphone. In retrospect, this evaluation is also possible via Scene2go.
