Sokkia’s Juniper Mesa Field Controller, otherwise known as the Sokkia Mesa Rugged Notepad, brings office work in the field with the largest screen on the market. This handheld data collector features a tablet PC touchscreen display, Windows operating system, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capability and customization options, such as GPS, cellular modem and camera.

This Sokkia field controller has built-in microprocessor, internal memory, wireless capabilities, keypad, LCD display and an operating system that supports a variety of field software. It increases efficiency in survey and construction projects because it is highly portable and can be used to collect measurements from total station and transfer them to in-office software.

GPS Capabilities

You also have the option for integrated GPS with 6 to 16-meter accuracy level, 3G cellular modem for Internet and cloud storage access using cellular coverage and a 3.2-megapixel camera with auto-focus for taking images in the survey area.

To make this surveying data collector even better, the Sokkia Juniper Mesa features a one-of- a-kind Juniper Systems home screen, which puts the most used functions in an on-screen dashboard for easy access. It allows you to customize shortcuts and use 11 screen gadgets for controlling wireless features, GPS, texting, email, calendar and power functions.

This device also comes with a Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 operating system that features a custom Juniper Systems finger-friendly onscreen keyboard.
